WELCOME

“You just gotta keep livin’ man, L-I-V-I-N.” – Dazed and Confused, 1993

I’m committed to respecting your autonomy. You are the expert on your own life. My job is to serve as a real partner in this process, walking beside you with honesty and care as you work through whatever challenges you are facing right now.

I draw from psychodynamic, evolutionary, and humanistic approaches, but I never apply a rigid framework. Instead, I tailor every treatment plan to what actually fits you as an individual. That may include therapy, medication management, lifestyle changes, or a thoughtful combination of all three. With extensive experience treating psychosis, trauma-related disorders, mood episodes, and substance use disorders, I bring both clinical depth and practical understanding to our work together. We will set clear, meaningful goals that reflect what matters most in your life and build whole-person strategies that support real, lasting change.

At the core of my practice is genuine empathy and human connection. I want you to feel safe enough to lower your guard, speak openly, and begin building true self-compassion. I practice in a direct, down-to-earth way because I believe you deserve a doctor who “keeps it one-hundred” and treats you like a person, not a diagnosis.

Your fundamental rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness shape everything I do. I am licensed in Michigan and accept commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare so that quality care remains accessible. I offer telehealth appointments with flexible evening and weekend availability because I understand that life does not stop when you need support.

My goal is straightforward: to create a space where you feel empowered to face difficult truths, gain meaningful insight, and move forward with greater strength and clarity. Together, we will build a path that feels authentic to who you are and supports the life you want to live.
